Joseph served most recently as the Director of Security at the Treasure Coast Treatment Center in Indiantown, but he has a long and varied law enforcement career. He served as a police officer with both the New York City Police Department and the Port St. Lucie Police Department. He spent the bulk of his career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, working out of the New York field office and at the training center in Quantico. His first priorities will be to achieve full staffing at the gate house and to conduct a thorough needs assessment of staffing, policies and procedures, and the physical security of the community, including the perimeter.
